Flyzolo Team Update - Day 124
A quick update for all the Western night owls 💪🦉amongst you 😂: Zara has diverted and landed in #Ketapang, #Indonesia. It is +28°. Her last diversion was Ayan, Russia, at -34°. A difference of 62° in only 8 flights...

Being around the "intertropical convergence zone" - in order to reach her second antipodal point, #Jakarta - she had to work a lot around #weather. At some stage she was at 800 feet and spotted a huge storm cloud ahead that looked like it was going to push her down too low 🌫🌧.

As she had literally flown overhead Ketapang airport, she decided to turn back and divert there 🛬. In Zara's own words: "I had the impression to have to race that storm cloud to the airfield"... She and Sharky won! 🦈✈💪

After a weather check in order to decide if she might keep going for a last 2 hour flight to #Jakarta later or call it a day, Zara has decided to remain in Ketapang. She has now even met one of her FB followers @Jstaldo8 living in Ketapang! What a coincidence!
