As the first ever winner🏆 in 2020 of the Time Youngest Person of the Year award, this brilliant yound mind explains: “Observe, brainstorm, research, build and communicate.” At just 15 Rao was selected from a field of more than 5,000 nominees.

With her astonishing work using technology she is hoping to tackle issues ranging from contaminated drinking water to opioid addiction and cyberbullying, with a mission to create a 🌎 global community of young innovators to solve problems the world over.

With her brilliant mind and generous spirit her inspiring message to young people is: don’t try to fix every problem, just focus on one that excites you. “If I can do it,” she said, “anybody can do it.”

So just like Zara, Rao is passionate about science & technology. She is focusing on what makes her happy 😀 and spurring other youngsters on to move forward with their own passion & inspire others at the same time. The Japanese people call it IKIGAI, a coming together of passion🤩, love ❤️ and mission✨. A path, not a destination.

It is the convergence of four areas of life: what you love, what you’re good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. The very center, where each area overlaps, is your ikigai – your reason for getting up in the morning and where you should focus your efforts to find ultimate fulfillment.
