FlyZolo Team Update - Flashback
This is the KPIX CBS San Francisco Bay Area report about last Wednesday. On Day 29 of her journey, Zara landed in #PaloAlto, #SanFrancisco - home of the stunning campus of Stanford University - where she received, a warm welcome from the Honorary Consul of Belgium for San Francisco, Mrs. Nathalie Delrue-McGuire, as well as from a #surprise aspiring pilot: Sahej Sethi. The 14 year old girl now aspires to break Zara's record! Yay! Everything Zara is hoping to inspire in girls and young women!
It was here that Zara had a technical issue with her plane, and if it hadn't been for the enthusiasm and invaluable help of so many people on the ground, Zara would probably still be stuck in Palo Alto. Thank you a million times to West Valley Flying Club, Alberto Rossi from Rossi Aircraft, the manager of Palo Alto Airport of Santa Clara County, Kristina Rosellini Anderson, Tanguy Peers, the Santa Clara Marriott and so many others for throwing in so much support and kindness, in order to get Zara back on track again (well kind of 😅😜), up and forward anyway in her #challenge. Thank you so much again to all involved in trying to make this record happen!
