One of the only remaining WWII Veterans, Garth Wright, 97, then a 19-year old, tells how Dunkirk was hell on earth. "When I first went back, I could still smell death and every time I've smelled that since, it takes me back to Dunkirk, '40. We were on our lowest then and completely alone... But by God we bounced back again and yeah... The Dunkirk Spirit. The Phoenix rising from the ashes."
