Army Air Corps

The AAC Guidon was paraded by personnel from the Attack Helicopter Force yesterday as they and members of 6 Regt AAC (Reserves), joined with military and civilian communities from across Suffolk at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds, to mark the Eve of Peace.
The service, organised by the Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk, Clare Countess of Euston and led by the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich the Rt Revd Martin Seeley, included a mass drop of poppies and the lighting of candles in a Circle of Light to symbolise peace.
Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Brown, Commanding Officer of 6 Regiment Army Air Corps, said: “I am tremendously proud to attend this service alongside people representing all walks of life from across Suffolk. The military enjoys fantastic support from the civilian community, which is never more apparent than when we join together at Remembrance to pay our respects to the Fallen.”
