Flyzolo Team Update ✈️ 🌍
Did you know Zara and her brother Mack Rutherford - who has just become the overall youngest world record holder of flying solo around the world at 17 as Macksolo - both come from a long line of pilots👨‍✈️?

Apart from the fact they literally flew in #carseats with their parents as #babies, on their mother's side, they are 4th generation #pilots: their great-grandfather, grandfather, and mother were all #flying.

On their dad's side, they are, in a way, 5th generation pilots, as their great-great-grandmother was one of the first #southafrican women to learn to #fly. Unfortunately, she had to stop flying when she fell pregnant with her fourth child. Her son, Rae Thomas, also became a pilot and died as a war-hero pilot near Sri Lanka.
