I was flying from Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia to Jakarta, Indonesia. However, I had to land in Bandar Udara Rahadi Osman (see last slide for pictures) because the weather was worsening. Right now I’m in WIOK, trying to get to WIHH, WBKK is Kota Kinabalu. I’ve been stuck here for a few days now and am trying to continue to Jakarta but there are many thunderstorms in the way.
This airport isn’t international so because of some paperwork I can’t leave the airport, which means I’ve been sleeping in the terminal for the last 2 nights. Starting to feel a bit like Tom Hanks in ‘The Terminal’.
