Flyzolo Team Update - Day 99
It's sounding a bit like a broken record now ๐
, but Zara is still stuck in #Ayan, #Russia. She has been for over two weeks. Fingers crossed Zara can fly soon! โ๐ค
Ayan is a little rural locality with a population of about 800, where she is renting a little flat from a local grocery-owner and entrepreneur. With very little Wifi-access, she is trying to do some university-applications, making videos as a record of her stay, cooking meals, going on walks, keeping fit and going on small adventures like finding an ATM machine ...
In shops, sign language is the base for all communication as she speaks no Russian, and the locals speak no English. They do greet her with "Ah Fransoski". Not sure she is even trying to explain to them that she is actually Belgian-British ๐๐.
If you would be stuck in a small town with virtually no wifi and no common language with the locals, what would you be doing to crush your #boredom? Any #tips or #ideas for Zara? ๐กโ๏ธ๐๐คฃ
