FlyZolo Team Update - Day 63
Zara is still stuck in #Nome, #Alaska. 😬🥶 We hoped for a potential dirty dash last Sunday, but Zara was not comfortable enough with how the #weather window looked ❄️💨.
Whilst waiting for the weather gods to open a new and better window🌤☀️, we've had lots of questions about how to know exactly when she is taking off. We do appreciate some people want to do flight-following and that it will most likely be a last-minute "go-no go" decision.
We have thought hard about this and we have the following suggestion:
As soon her little pink Shark takes off ✈️, we will post about it asap on this Page. The FB #algorithm does not necessarily show every post of a page you follow though. To make that happen, you need to manually "opt-in".
How?
➡️ Go to the FlyZolo Page, press the button "Follow" if not done yet -> "Follow Settings" -> "Favourites".
This way, and if you chose to do so, FB will show you every FlyZolo post and you will not miss out on her departure. ✔️

Meanwhile, Zara has been invited to taste the traditional "whale blubber" 🐋 😳 🙃. Ok, this might sound odd for most other cultural taste buds, but it's a popular food source for #Inuit people of the #Arctic. So, in order to maintain their ancestral heritage, some countries allow for limited hunting of certain whale species. This is based on stock numbers and the cultural significance of whale hunting in the area or among certain groups. Bon appétit!
