FlyZolo Team Update

It's been 19 years since this was taken: flying ✈ with Zara to her family in the #UK. As a mum, I cherish this (totally faded picture). Now, on her World Record Attempt, she is flying on her own and at the other end of the 🌎, trying to inspire other young girls to believe in their #dreams.

Today, 11th October, was proclaimed by the #UN as "INTERNATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY". A day to empower ✨ and 🔎 amplify the voices of #girls around the World:

"The International Day of the Girl Child focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girls’ empowerment and the fulfilment of their human rights. (...)

Every day, girls are breaking boundaries and barriers posed by stereotypes and exclusion. (...) They are tackling issues like child marriage, education inequality, violence, climate justice, and inequitable access to healthcare. As entrepreneurs, innovators and initiators of global movements, girls are creating a world that is relevant for them and future generations. (...)
Girls are proving they are unstoppable."
