Weather not good enough to fly to Narsarsuaq today. I was truly inspired by the way Islandic women were able to show the importance of their role in society: "Forty years ago, the women of Iceland went on strike - they refused to work, cook and look after children for a day. It was a moment that changed the way women were seen in the country and helped put Iceland at the forefront of the fight for equality." It is know as "The Women's Day Off," also known as "Long Friday" (when seen from the male's perspective 😁). Do you know of other similar inspiring stories? I would love to hear about them!
